About AVCO DESIGN
AVCO Design is a full-service interior design studio in Sonoma County founded by Principal Designer Stephanie Meyer after the Tubbs Fire to help clients rebuild their homes and businesses. Design, purchasing, and construction coordination under one roof. AVCO stands for “Aesthete Vagabond Company,” a website Stephanie started in college to document her venture into the world of design and living across three continents.
Meet Stephanie Meyer, Principal Designer
Stephanie opened AVCO’s doors after the Tubbs Fire to help with rebuilding efforts. Before that, she spent 10+ years working on commercial projects, including a blueberry wine-tasting room, a net-zero bank, and multiple themed hotels and museums for international architectural firms Stantec and VOA Associates.
She works closely with clients to develop projects from programming to design implementation. Having lived between three continents, Stephanie cultivated an eye for simple sophistication and a desire to create timeless, meaningful spaces.
Stephanie has an M.A. in Interior Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design, also known as SCAD, and a B.A. in Interior Design from the Interior Architecture and Design School at Florida State University. Stephanie holds active NCIDQ and LEED ID+C certifications.
